We’re an Amsterdam based e-commerce startup. Owners of small and medium sized shops love our hosted platform, which let’s them set up shop in less than a day. We recently received funding and are preparing to conquer the world. A heroic task that requires fellow heroes and heroines who won’t back down until the mission is accomplished.

We are the fastest growing e-Commerce platform of Europe. Providing a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for companies to set up their online stores. Nowadays we already service over 3000 customers in the Benelux and Germany geographies, among which Pearl, Philips and charity organizations like Dance 4 Life. Currently we employ 35 passionate top internet and e-Commerce specialists, working on innovation and internationalization on a daily basis.

Job description

As Account Manager E-Commerce, you are responsible for advising and acquiring our international customers. You know how to discover the needs of the customer, and adapt your pitch to them. You know how to balance commercial goals of the company with properly building of the customer relationship.
You love to communicate on the phone, and able to receive new customers in the office. Next to that, with your online advertising background you are able to manage adwords / display campaigns to generate leads / new business and advise customers on generating more traffic to their online stores.
In collaboration with our development department, you will make sure a few technical adjustments (localizations) are being made, as needed for a country to become successful.

We offer you daily on the job training from our BLX sales manager and Online Marketing Manager, as the core process in converting customers has many subtle and less subtle key success factors.

Function requirements

  • You have at least finished a BASc, or BSc. degree;
  • You have 2 – 4 years of working experience;
  • You are bases in the region of Frankfurt
  • You have (international) sales experience
  • You have knowledge in online advertising (Adwords, SEO, Display, Retargeting, social media and/or linkbuilding)
  • You have a proven sales and / or marketing track record;
  • You are solution-oriented;
  • You are fluent in English and German;
  • A third European language is highly preferable.
